Can We Heal Our Land?

Imagine Jesus addressing the world, regarding the issue of global warming.

 

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and
seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

In this verse there is no mention of a tipping point, where the world is irrevokably destroyed by man.

 What if instead of spending billions of dollars, the world united for one moment, in one thought, repenting of our sins?

And it worked?
